Add charts to Notion for free and translate Notion templates into your preferred language
Hi Notioneers!
It’s been a while since my last post so to make up for the wait, I’ve got two new creations to share with you today.
Notion Charts
You don’t have to pay to add charts to Notion. I’ve created a Rows spreadsheet template which you can use to add charts to Notion, rather than subscribing to a chart builder app.
Fetching your data from Notion, to display it with a chart from Rows, can be quite a technical process. You have to request your data from the API and then reformat it. So I made a template that does the hard work for you.
To use it, all you need to do is connect your Notion database, choose which data you want to display in the chart and then embed the chart in Notion.
Translate Notion Templates
Notion has users all over the world but the vast majority of templates are still created in English. I’m hoping that my new app will help to break down those barriers by making it easy to translate the databases in those templates from one language to another.
The app translates the names of your Notion databases, the names of their properties and the drop-down options for select and multi-select properties. It supports translations for 133 languages!
Unfortunately it doesn’t translate the contents of the pages in a template at the moment. Although now that we have Notion AI, that can be done automatically too.
This will be a paid app but I’m giving newsletter subscribers the chance to try it for free, for at least the next couple of weeks.
You can access the guide and app here.
I hope you find these new tools useful! I’ll be back soon with more creations 🧑🍳
