5 New Apple Shortcuts

anotioneer.substack.com

Hi,

Thanks again for registering for my newsletter. Most of you have discovered my work through my Habit Tracking with NFT Tags Apple Shortcut and since then I’ve been busy making more Shortcuts so here’s a quick roundup in case you missed them.

As always, these Shortcuts let you update / check information that’s stored in Notion, without opening Notion, to make using Notion a little bit more frictionless and enjoyable 🖤

They’re designed to work with any Notion database, not just the ones that’re included in my templates.

Thanks for reading aNotioneer! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work.

💊 Track medications

Setup guide, Apple Shortcuts and Notion template

This Apple Shortcut lets you keep track of which supplements or medications you need to take and when you last took them.

You can add items to your shopping list by tapping an NFC tag, from a widget or your homescreen.

🛒 Add to your shopping list

This Apple Shortcut lets you select items from your Shopping List database that you need to buy and add new items to your list. You can optionally set an emoji as the item's page icon.

✅ Ask Siri what’s on your to-do list

🏃 Train for races

Setup guide, Apple Shortcuts and Notion template

This template lets you set goals for your distance and pace, then record your runs quickly, using an Apple Shortcut. You can see your progress towards your goal, based on your most recent runs and compare it with your expected progress, which checks how long you have left until the race.

Optionally, you can report your workouts to an accountability buddy or your personal trainer, using the second version of the Shortcut below and they can reply with comments that're saved in Notion. So if you're lacking motivation, you can read their past comments 🙌

💸 Record expenses

Setup guide, Apple Shortcuts and Notion template

This Apple Shortcut lets you record your payments, without opening Notion.

I hope you enjoy using these Shortcuts as much as I enjoyed making them! I’ll create more soon.

Thank you for reading aNotioneer. This post is public so feel free to share it.
